The showcase of our garden is the swimming pool, integrated into a natural pond.
Our outdoor pool, although open all year round, is not heated. In summer, it is an ideal place for calm and refreshing relaxation, and in winter it can attract enthusiasts of winter swimming as well as people using the Estonian sauna located right next to it.
In our garden, you will also find a wooden cabin, which is an Estonian sauna. For Estonians, this type of sauna is an integral part of their culture and tradition. So much so that they have been arguing with the Finns for years about who invented the sauna first.
The Estonian sauna is also called a smoke sauna because older constructions lacked a chimney pipe, and smoke from the stove escaped through small openings and gaps.
Our sauna, naturally built by a team from Estonia, has a chimney that vents the smoke outside. In the Estonian sauna, unlike the Finnish one, there are at most two levels of benches. Before the main sauna room, there is also a summer room. Of course, cooling off with water is inseparable from sauna culture, which is why natural saunas were often built near rivers and lakes. For these purposes, our swimming pool works perfectly, and in winter, snowdrifts!
Every Saturday, in the Estonian sauna and steam bath, there are sessions with a sauna master. This is a unique opportunity to fully experience the beneficial properties of the sauna. Each session is different. In the dry sauna, you will enjoy a variety of scents: from sweet, through refreshing citrus, to invigorating menthol and strong aromas. There is also a session using traditional whisking. The steam bath, on the other hand, is a great opportunity for a full body peeling. Ask at the reception for the current session times and their main theme.
